Why are my sustainable nails falling off?

Looking to get the most out of your Sistaco sustainable nails? Great news — with the right application process, your nails can look flawless and stay in place for longer! It all comes down to proper preparation and a few simple techniques that make a big difference.

The key to long-lasting wear starts before the nails even go on. Prepping your natural nail bed ensures that your nails adhere properly and stay put. Here’s how to get it right:

1. Start by gently pushing back or trimming your cuticles. This helps avoid any lifting and allows the nail to sit against the natural nail bed.

2. Use an oil-free soap to cleanse your hands and nails. Then, take a Sistaco Prep Pad to remove any oils, lotions, or residue from the nail plate. A clean, dry surface is essential for strong adhesion.

3. Lightly buff or file the surface of your natural nails. This creates a slightly roughened texture that helps the sustainable nails grip securely.

When selecting your nail sizes, err on the smaller side — we usually recommend choosing a size down from what you think fits. A snug fit ensures better wear and prevents early lifting at the edges.

Once your nails are applied, press down firmly on the center of each nail for 30 seconds to lock it in place. But don’t stop there — we suggest repeating this pressing process daily for each nail to maintain that tight, long-lasting hold.

Following these steps will help ensure that your sustainable nails last longer and stay firmly in place.
