If you’ve ever experienced a sharp heat sensation while curing, you're not alone. This reaction is known as a Heat Spike, and it’s more common than you might think. Below, we explain why it happens, how to prevent it, and what you can do to protect your natural nails.
Heat when under the LED lamp generally means that your application is applied to thickly. It is caused by the energy created when the liquid matter turns solid. You should avoid this and ensure that your application is applied finely. Thick applications will not necessarily set through and could cause early chipping.

The other potential reason is that the nails are thin, sometimes caused through salon visits and nail drills being used. If this is the case try to use our Elixir twice a day and also use Organic Apple Cider Vinegar on the nails. You can apply this with a small makeup brush straight to the nail. Avoid any cuts as it can sting. Apple Cider Vinegar is reputed to be anti-inflammatory and full of nutrients that are great for nails. You could do this 3 times a week. Also eat vegetables known to be good for nail and hair growth.
