I have removed the Matte powders and I find my nails or skin has stained

If you’ve noticed a bit of pigment staining on your natural nail after using our system, don’t worry — it's usually a sign that the powder has pushed through the Base Coat and come into contact with your bare nail plate. Here's why that happens and how to avoid it. Our powders and formulations are designed to be applied with a light hand. The powder should sit gently on top of the Base Coat, adhering to its surface — not pushed into it.

How to Remove Stains (If You Have Them)

If you’re noticing a little staining — especially with darker or Matte colours — try this:

  • Use whitening toothpaste and gently scrub the area

  • Try an exfoliating product, like a sea salt scrub

  • Don’t overdo it — gentle is best!

Still seeing some discoloration? No worries — it's usually just on the very top layer of the nail, and it will naturally fade with everyday wear and washing.
