If your nail has a little bit of pigment staining it is likely that the powder has pushed through your Base Coat to the bare nail plate. Our formulations and powders must be applied with a light touch. Any powder should sit on the Base Coat, just adhering to it. If you push too hard you will damage the structure of the Base Coat and you will not only stain your nails but also potentially affect the performance of your application. If you do find your nails are slightly stained (perhaps with our new Matte Colours) try a little bit of whitening toothpaste and give a gentle scrub or an exfoliation product such as a sea salt scrub. If you are still having difficulty, this is only on the very first layer of the nail and normal day tasks will reduce the stains over time.
