How do I ensure my application lasts long and prevent chipping/peeling?

Hi! Let's see how to keep your nail game strong and prevent chipping or peeling!

First things first, make sure those hands and nails are squeaky clean! Wash 'em up with an oil-free soap and dry them off thoroughly. Then, use our Sistaco Prep Pad to wipe away any sneaky oils or creams. Finally, give your nails a gentle file to roughen up the surface just a tad for that perfect base coat adhesion.

Now, when applying each step, go for a nice thin coat. Thick layers might mess with the product's setting and could even lead to a 'heat spike' under the LED. If you feel the coats are thick you can thin them down by standing the bottles in semi-hot water before application.

Next up, let's talk powder! Less is more! Our fine powders need just a smidge. Apply with a light touch using our Mineral Bond applicator or Dual Applicator for our 'Classic' range, or the Mineral Bond applicator for our 'Metallic and Holographic' colors. Brush off any extra powder before applying the Top Coat.

Oh, and if your nails are long enough, cap the free edge without touching your skin. This helps keep out water, oil, and dirt to prevent lifting or chipping.

And here's a pro tip: Watch those edges! Avoid overlapping your nails with the base coat to prevent any lumps. Our Perfect Edge product can help with that. Keep a 2mm distance from the edge, just like they do in the salon. Remember to cure the coats for a full 2 mins.

Lastly, after finishing your application and rinsing off any extra powder, treat your nails to our Elixir daily. It's packed with Vitamins B and E to keep 'em healthy and strong. Don't forget to pamper those nails daily, with or without our Sistaco Mineral Bond application.

Hope these tips keep your nails looking fabulous! And don't forget to join Sistaco Collective, our Facebook group, for even more nail magic!
