Why are my nails still tacky?

Modified on Tue, 15 Apr at 2:43 PM

If you've just finished applying your Top Coat, cured it for the full 2 minutes under our LED lamp, and your nails still feel a little sticky, the likely cause is the top coat may be too thick.

When the Top Coat is applied too heavily, it can struggle to dry and cure properly within the recommended 2-minute setting time. The result? A slightly tacky or sticky finish, even after curing.

For best results, always apply a thin, even layer of Top Coat. Here's why that makes a big difference:

  • Cures properly in 2 minutes under the LED lamp

  • Feels smooth and dry to the touch after curing

  • Reduces the chance of a heat spike during the setting process

  • Lasts longer and maintains a flawless finish
